Adina Babeş (°1982) behaalde een doctoraat in de politieke wetenschappen aan de National School of Political Studies and Public Administration van Boekarest (2013), en masters aan de Hebrew University van Jeruzalem (2012), de universiteit van Boekarest (2008) en de Central European University van Boedapest  (2006).
Van 2006 tot 2018 werkte ze als senior onderzoeker aan het ‘Elie Wiesel’ National Institute for the Study of Holocaust in Romania. In 2017 werd ze projectadviseur bij de Europese Commissie.
Sinds oktober 2018 werkt ze bij het CegeSoma aan de EHRI-projecten EHRI 2 en de voorbereidingsfase van EHRI (European Holocaust Research Infrastructure).
In 2020 ontving ze een MSCA post-doctorale beurs na oproep H2020-MSCA-IF-2019 voor het project ‘Nobodies’ Jews: Non-national Jews between Refuge and Deportation during the 1930s and the Holocaust’, ID: 892262, gastinstelling: KU Leuven, België.

Adina Babeş  heeft verscheidene artikels en onderzoekstudies gepubliceerd in werken en academische tijdschriften en stelt wetenschappelijke papers voor tijdens conferenties, seminaries en ronde tafels.
