Widukind De Ridder (°1980) is Doctor of History from the VUB.

In May 2011 he joined CegeSoma to collaborate in the research project, directed by Emmanuel Gerard, on the 1950 assassination of Julien Lahaut, President of the Communist Party of Belgium.

His research focuses on the history of work organization and industrial relations (19th and 20th century), as well as on Belgian communism and the theorizing of social criticism (Karl Marx, Max Stirner, Bruno Bauer). He left CegeSoma on 31 May 2014.
