Archives of E. De Winter, secretary-general of the Ministry of Agriculture
Emile De Winter was a mining engineer and became cabinet head for the Minister of Economic Affairs before the war and secretary-general of the Ministry of Agriculture during the war. In the course of the occupation, she was in charge of supplying in Belgium. After the liberation, she was suspended and an investigation was launched into her competences. She was eventually not charged with any wrongdoing and started a political career with the Catholic party in the late 1940s.
