Belgian State Security Archives (AA1333). Procedure for consulting and or/reproducing the individual files of intelligence and action agents.

To consult and/or reproduce files from the Belgian State Security archives (AA1333) currently kept at CegeSoma, please send your request to the following e-mail address: info-arch@vsse.be.

Your request will take longer to process, as the State Security Department carries out more stringent checks on these files. If a file can be declassified immediately, the waiting time will be about one month. If it contains secret documents that must be declassified, the waiting time is up to three months. Thank you for your understanding.

Please note: fund AA1333 also contains index cards. The contents of most of them can also be found online on the Resistance in Belgium platform. Consultation of these files does not require authorization from the State Security Department.

Once you have received authorization, you can :

• Reserve a place in the reading room to consult the file(s).

• Submit a reproduction request.
